Meet Jodi Riley

Jodi Riley brings the perspective of someone who has built, led and sold a business. She founded Red Star Transportation in 2011, led it through COVID and rebuilding, and sold it in September 2023. That firsthand experience shapes her work with founder-led businesses today.

Her business-building experience began earlier with Simply Photography. As founder and executive director from 1997 to 2007, she built a premium photography company for local and international clients and hired and trained associate photographers.

Building on that experience, she helps owners connect financial visibility, practical systems and leadership accountability. Through The CEO Strategy, she works alongside owners, their teams and collaborators to turn clearer understanding into action. The aim is capable, informed leadership, not a business that depends on its consultant.

For Jodi, business is part of a life she enjoys, alongside dancing, the outdoors and motherhood. Being a mom is one of the parts of her life she treasures most. Away from work, Jodi enjoys hiking, rafting, snowboarding and West Coast Swing.

Her interest in personal growth and core values is part of the same wider picture: a business should support the people building it, and the life they want to live.
